We would like to thank everyone who have attended, presented or sponsored the Small Vessel Security Threats Forums over the past two years. Your participation, expertise and support have made the programs incredibly successful.
After four events over the last two years, the Small Vessel Security Threats (SVST) Programs have engaged public and private stakeholders at all levels to collaborate and learn about protecting their areas of responsibilities (AOR) from small vessel security threats. The success of the Programs have been the diversity of the audience which includes state & local police, DHS, DOJ, DOT, DOD and private industry. This diversity has allowed for the input and perspective from a wide range of maritime stakeholders giving our participants in depth knowledge of not only the policy side, but also the operational side of maritime security. At the request of our advisors, attendees and sponsors, we are expanding the SVST Program to address additional topics of importance to maritime security. As a result, the SVST Program is now the 1st annual Maritime Security 2013 Programs.
